About Gas Flooding JIP
The gas flooding research program was initiated at The University of Texas at Austin (UT) on September of 2006. The initial objective of the research group was to provide a wide range of research topics in the area of gas flooding. Many faculty were invited to join at that time.
In 2010, the gas flooding group was moved to The Pennsylvania State University, where faculty from both PSU and UT lead research projects. The projects should be fundamental research and industrial affiliates are encouraged to provide topics and data for research so that the research is company led, not university led.
